Day 01: Arrival: Welcome to paradise

Upon arrival to Managua, a representative of Nicaraguan Trails will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to the Elements Hotel Boutique, located at less than 30 minutes from the international airport, an oasis in the city where elegance, modern architecture and style combines to conceive “a one of a kind” atmosphere. The hotel’s privileged location will give you the opportunity to explore the nearby shopping centres, fine restaurants and great entertainment options available.

Day 02: Transfer To Yemaya Island Hideaway & Spa

One of our drivers will meet you at the hotel after breakfast to take you to the local airport where you will board  the flight to Corn Island. One representatives will meet you upon arrival to take you on a scenic boat ride to the hotel located in Little Corn Island. Rest of the day at leisure to explore the island and take a refreshing dip in the clear turquoise waters just steps from your room.

Day 03 & 04: Yemaya Island Hideway

Days at leisure to waters to enjoy any of the many beach and water activities available such as paddle boarding, snorkeling and kayaking, make your way to the jungle yoga studio for your complementary yoga class or just sit and unwind under a palm tree while enjoying a healthy Caribbean smoothie or cocktail

Day 05: Transfer To Jicaro Lodge, Visit To Masaya Volcano & Crafts Market

After a tasty Caribbean breakfast, you get in the boat back to the local airport where you will take the flight to Managua. One of our drivers will be waiting to take you to Granada’s Marina Cocibolca where you will take a boat to reach the private islet, where Jicaro lodge is located. On route, we will visit one of the most active volcanoes of Nicaragua, the Masaya Volcano, named by the Spaniards the “Mouth of Hell” due to the lava lake that has appear and disappear over the centuries and that can currently be seen. We will continue to the Masaya’s art market and San Juan de Oriente craft village where you will have the chance to admire some of the most beautiful pieces of art coming from all around the country, a perfect opportunity to get a remembrance of your visit. Our last stop before heading to Jicaro Lodge will be at Catarina lookout point where you will have a beautiful panoramic view of the Laguna de Apoyo.

Day 06: Granada City Tour

This morning you will have the chance to explore and discover the famous city of Granada! Established in 1524 by the Spaniard Francisco Hernandez de Cordoba, Granada is the oldest colonial city on mainland America and considered one of the prettiest cities in Latin America. Along with your private bilingual guide, you will visit relevant sites and colonial buildings as well as the San Francisco Museum, which preserves some of the most interesting indigenous ceramic and statue collections. Your guide will take you into the past to learn about all the issues that involved Granada’s development since the pre-Columbian period. Your guide will share civil war stories and the adventures of the real pirates that once visited and lived in the city.

Day 07: Mombacho Volcano & Canopy Tour

This morning you will take part of an adventure like no other taking part of the Mombacho Volcano canopy tour. The Mombacho Volcano is one of the most prominent volcanoes in Nicaragua, located only 10 km from Granada. The ride uphill only is an adventure by itself. The incredible steepness of the volcano guarantees a spectacular ride. Explore a breathtaking view of the tropical forest of the Mombacho Volcano and enjoy an exhilarating Canopy Zip Line Tour while enjoying close contact with nature. This tour is a combination of both Mombacho walking around the crater and Canopy with its 17 platforms - 3 Hanging Bridges - 11 Steel Cables with a height about 25 – 30 meters.

Day 08: Transfer To Mukul Resort

Get ready after a delicious typical breakfast to discover yet another beautiful destination, this time one of our drivers will meet you at the boarding docks to take you to Guacalito de la Isla where Mukul Resort is located. Rest of the day at leisure to enjoy of Nicaragua’s first ultra-luxury resort.

Day 09- 10: Mukul Resort

Days at leisure to relax at the beach, explore the area or take an optional activity. Nicaragua’s first ultra-luxury resort, Mukul Resort & Spa, is set between the trees and a stunningly beautiful four-mile stretch of white sandy beach. This secret hideaway (Mukul means secret in Mayan) provides plenty of pampering, villas pools, a beach club; and if all this barefoot luxury still is not enough. Mukul also has a sensuous spa offering sybaritic treatments from India, Turkey and Japan, a golf course designed by Scottish architect David McLay Kidd and plenty of lush tropical rainforest to explore where you can easily spot playful monkeys swinging from the trees.

Day 11: Departure

After breakfast and according to your international flight schedule, your private transportation will take you to the International Airport for your flight back home.
